| Voice Mail is the technology we love to hate. But voice mail does not have to be a frustration to callers--it's just the poorly designed ones that draw complaints. A well-designed system will speed calls through your system, make your staff easier to find and communicate with and generally reduce costs and increase productivity. And when done properly, it can even increase customer care and satisfaction. When we design a system, callers are always allowed an option to speak to a live person by dialing 0. Other tricks are to keep the menu options simple and allow callers to try another employee if the one they're calling is not in. Our systems have sophisticated ways to reach employees after a message has been left, including a call to the employee's home or cell number or pager. Our Voice Mail system can also do sophisticated call handling sequences such as Audio Text, where callers can get recorded information read to them by pressing different menu keys. It also can do Interactive Voice Response, where the caller dials information as instructed by the system, which then accesses a computer system and retrieves information for the caller. When you call your bank for account information, this is IVR. The system asks you to dial your account number and other info, then reads you your account balance. Price: Minimum $2500. Typically $5000 for 20 users and 4 ports. Large systems for hundreds of users can easily cost $25,000 or more. Request more info |
